Utilising the 30,000 year old technique of Pit Firing, this bowl adorns the colours of iron red, smoke black and licks of speckled grey. The fire denotes the random but mesmerising effect of the surface of this pot; involving the use of organic materials, this pot fosters a similar philosophy in displaying an equally organic and haphazard explosion of colour.

An amalgamation of copper, sawdust and various other materials are all burned alongside to create this finished piece.
