‘Molding Progressions Series’ No.4
₹5,000.00
In the process of creating ‘Molding Progressions No.4,’ I transformed the pot’s surface into a dynamic canvas, expressing myself through meticulous line work using under-glazes and a paintbrush. The distinctive dip at the top evolved into a guiding design element, influencing my brush strokes. Each stroke is a thoughtful and intentional expression, reflecting a meditative process that extends far beyond the time it took to shape the form. This approach to line drawing and under-glaze work has become a recurring theme in my subsequent pieces, as the process evolved into a source of genuine enjoyment.
‘Molding Progressions’ is an exploratory series filled with lots of experiments, trials and happy accidents. This particular series helped me discover and refine my style and a catalyst for my artistic expression captured in my other works as part of the two following series, ‘Emanation’ and ‘Harmony / Spectrum’. Each piece highlighted in ‘Molding Progressions’ has a character of its own, and a story to tell of moments of elation and anguish at every new discovery during this phase.
This piece has cracks around the rim, these defects have been reflected in the overall price of the piece.
