‘Nebula’ is a harmonious pair of sculptural pots meticulously crafted as part of the ‘Emanation Series.’ Deliberately embracing organic forms, each vessel exudes sensual bulges and fluid curves, echoing the elegance inherent in nature’s design. Upon reflection, they appear intertwined, much like the organic cohesion found in elements of the natural world.

Both pieces in ‘Nebula’ are adorned with oxide-based glazes, applied layer by layer to evoke a nuanced interplay of light and shadows. This meticulous dance between oxides and clay creates a celestial palette reminiscent of nebulous galaxies, infusing the pots with an ethereal and captivating quality.

The ‘Emanation Series’ is an exploration of the cosmic dance between my hands and the malleable nature of clay. Each piece within the series originates from the same starting point, emphasising my commitment to following the organic flow of creation. The process is a dynamic interplay between intention and surrender, resulting in bulges and curves that reflect the ebb and flow of emotions coursing through my mind. The clay, once a neutral canvas, absorbs and expresses my emotional states during the building process. The resulting shapes carry a living soul, each piece encapsulating a distinct emotional journey.
