Pragya, born in Dharamshala, is a multidisciplinary artist that has been practising ceramics at Dharamkot Studio since 2020. With a background in fine arts, poetry and music, including a decade of global exploration, she now finds creative satisfaction in her birthplace within the mountainous landscape. As a self-taught painter, ceramics offers her a 3D canvas, emphasising functional pieces embellished over time that hold tangible joy. Inspired by Dharamshala’s floral heritage, Pragya’s surface designs, employing sgraffito and glaze painting, reflect an amalgamation of colours, shapes, and functionality. Currently on a path of discovery, her ever-changing journey as an art maker continues to evolve.
